Alan Schneier

Alan Schneier is a partner at McKenna & Schneier where he has engaged in the general practice of law since the firm’s formation in 1977.  His specific areas of interest and expertise are in commercial and residential real estate, zoning and land use, small businesses, commercial collections, wills and estate planning, and probate and estate administration.

Alan received his Juris Doctor degree in 1976 from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School.  He is a 1973 graduate of Brooklyn College of the City University of New York where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree, Magna Cum Laude with Honors in Political Science.  He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

While at Brooklyn College, Alan was a four year starter on the Varsity Baseball Team and was named a Topps District All Star (College Division) in his sophomore year. Following college, he played professional baseball in Europe for the Florence team in the Italian Baseball League.  In 1987, he was inducted into the Brooklyn College Athletic Hall of Fame.

Alan has been a longtime member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG), AFTRA, and Equity and has appeared in a numerous Off-Broadway plays, television soap operas, films, and music videos.  In 2007, he produced, wrote, and starred in an independent feature film, Hit to Right.
